Chris,
I have to tell you that I was quite moved to listen to you on the radio last week when you announced the Diwali fundraising event on Saturday. Had I not have been at a friend's daughter's pre-wedding dinner celebration I would have attended with my husband.
As an immigrant myself at the age of 7, now 53 (and a very much Canadianized yet lingering Spaniard) your comments about Canada being a wonderful country coupled with your focus on positive acts was wonderful to listen to.
It would be equally wonderful if your organization could be on the news more often with positive messages that could be instrumental in bringing more unity between all the different subgroups in our society and help create a common goal for all Canadians. In the early '90's I worked for the human right commissions in Toronto and your messages resonated stronger to me in terms of potential for building acceptance and respect for others.
Congratulations...I will definitely put your Diwali event on my calendar for next year.
Oh, lastly, I really like the suggestion of performing three kindly acts in the web site section on handling anger.
Best wishes,
Dolores Smith(and husband, Eric Strong) Erin, Ontario

Dear Vasanthi and Krish, Joy and I had a wonderful time on Saturday night celebrating Diwali. We want to say thank you to you and the great team of the Nirvana members to provide us with such good entertainment, food and atmosphere. Accolades also for donating to a great Canadian cause which makes it extra special, no matter how small or big the donation, especially when we as immigrants, are giving back.
Great show and continue with the work’.
Love Ramie and Joy

Dear Sir/Madam,
Respectfully, I wish to inquire if there is a way to donate for literacy
program up north without attending the ball.
Best regards and Happy Diwali,
Rahul |

I learned about your organization from today's CBC radio
interview with Krishna.I am unemployed right now but I am wondering if you
are planning activities in the $30/person price range?
Thank you.
